Concert of Music for Brass, String and Voices

On Saturday 21 September, St Mary’s Church is delighted to be hosting a free evening concert starting at 6pm.   There will be a wonderfully varied programme of music provided by our guests for the evening, Ensemble Strings, Leeds Brass and Tickhill Community Choir.   Highlights of the programme include the Meditation from Thais by Messanet, The Prayer by David Foster, Manha de Carnaval and Puttin’ on the Ritz arranged for brass and Simon & Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence and Colours of the Wind (from 1995 Disney film Pocahontas) sung by the Tickhill Community Choir.

Admission is free with a retiring collection in aid the St Mary’s Warm and Welcoming appeal to replace the church boilers.   Light refreshments will be served at the end of the concert.
